On 15 December 2015, Neftaly successfully delivered an impactful series of case studies to 28,744 young people across South Africa, in collaboration with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund (NMCF) and Comic Relief. This initiative was designed to provide youth with practical guidance, inspiring examples, and actionable insights to help them navigate personal and professional development opportunities.
The case studies highlighted real-life stories of young South Africans who have overcome challenges, launched initiatives, and created meaningful social impact in their communities. By showcasing these journeys, Neftaly aimed to:
- Inspire action: Encouraging youth to identify opportunities and leverage their talents for social and economic growth.
- Develop skills: Providing tools and strategies to build confidence, leadership, and employability.
- Foster networks: Connecting young people to mentors, peer groups, and funding opportunities through NMCF and Comic Relief support.
The partnership with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund ensured that the content was aligned with youth empowerment priorities, while Comic Relief’s support amplified the reach and accessibility of the resources.
Through this initiative, Neftaly reaffirmed its commitment to youth development and social impact, demonstrating how strategic partnerships can enable thousands of young people to envision and achieve their potential.
