Neftaly Welcomes New Beneficiaries – 24 January 2016
On 24 January 2016, Neftaly proudly welcomed the intake of 80,512 young beneficiaries into its youth development programmes. This milestone was achieved in strong partnership with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund (NMCF) and Comic Relief, two leading organisations committed to empowering young people and securing a brighter future for children and youth across South Africa.
The intake represents a powerful step forward in addressing the challenges faced by young people, particularly in the areas of education, skills development, health, and socio-economic opportunities. By working together, Neftaly, NMCF, and Comic Relief are able to expand their impact, ensuring that tens of thousands of young people gain access to programmes designed to uplift, inspire, and empower.
This initiative reflects Neftaly’s ongoing commitment to creating sustainable solutions for youth and communities, while honouring the legacy of Nelson Mandela in putting children first.
“Investing in our youth means investing in the future of our nation. Through partnerships like these, we are able to provide not only opportunities but also hope to young people who deserve every chance to succeed.” – Neftaly Leadership
The partnership with NMCF and Comic Relief demonstrates the power of collaboration in driving long-term social change and amplifying the voices of young people. Together, the organisations remain dedicated to supporting youth with the resources, mentorship, and platforms they need to thrive.
