Neftaly Technical Skills Training: Empowering Youth for a Brighter Future
On 16 April 2015, Neftaly successfully provided technical skills training to 12,489 youth, in a landmark initiative aimed at equipping young people with the tools and knowledge to thrive in today’s competitive environment. This initiative was delivered in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund (NMCF) and Comic Relief, demonstrating a powerful collaboration between organizations committed to youth empowerment and social development.
The training focused on practical and industry-relevant technical skills, providing participants with hands-on experience and insights designed to enhance employability and entrepreneurial potential. Through a combination of workshops, interactive sessions, and mentorship, Neftaly ensured that youth were not only exposed to technical competencies but also inspired to apply these skills in meaningful ways.
This program reflects Neftaly’s ongoing commitment to bridging the skills gap, fostering innovation, and creating pathways for young people to achieve economic independence. By reaching over 12,000 youth, the initiative underscores the transformative power of partnerships and the collective impact of organizations dedicated to youth development.
The collaboration with NMCF and Comic Relief highlights the importance of leveraging resources, networks, and expertise to maximize opportunities for young people across South Africa. Together, these organizations are shaping a future where youth have the skills, confidence, and support to contribute actively to their communities and the broader economy.
