A Story About a Volunteer Who Used Their Own Story to Help

When Thandi first walked into the community centre, she wasn’t sure if she was ready to share her past. Years earlier, she had struggled with unemployment, anxiety, and feeling invisible in her own community. But with time, courage, and the support of others, she managed to rebuild her confidence and find her purpose.

Now a volunteer with Neftaly, Thandi decided to use her personal story as a way to connect with others.
