Neftaly Technical Skills Training – 20 April 2015
On 20 April 2015, Neftaly successfully delivered a Technical Skills training program to 12,489 youth, empowering them with practical knowledge and competencies essential for the modern workforce. This transformative initiative was conducted in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund (NMCF) and Comic Relief, reflecting a shared commitment to youth development and skills empowerment across South Africa.
The program focused on equipping young participants with hands-on technical skills, fostering innovation, problem-solving, and employability. By providing practical training, mentorship, and access to resources, the initiative aimed to bridge the gap between education and employment, enabling youth to pursue meaningful career paths or entrepreneurial ventures.
Through this collaboration, Neftaly, NMCF, and Comic Relief reinforced the importance of investing in young people as catalysts for social and economic change, creating opportunities that contribute to sustainable community development.
The event stands as a landmark example of impactful youth engagement, demonstrating how partnerships between civil society, NGOs, and youth-focused organizations can create lasting change.
