Neftaly Technical Skills Training – 29 March 2015
On 29 March 2015, Neftaly successfully delivered a Technical Skills training program to 12,489 youth, in a landmark initiative aimed at empowering young people with practical skills for the modern workforce. This program was conducted in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund (NMCF) and Comic Relief, reflecting a shared commitment to youth development and social impact.
The training covered a wide range of technical competencies, designed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to thrive in a rapidly changing economic environment. By providing hands-on experience and practical learning opportunities, Neftaly helped to enhance employability, foster innovation, and encourage entrepreneurial thinking among the youth.
This initiative is part of Neftaly’s ongoing efforts to bridge the skills gap in South Africa, ensuring that young people have access to high-quality training that supports personal growth, career readiness, and meaningful participation in the economy.
Through this collaboration with NMCF and Comic Relief, Neftaly reinforced the power of partnerships in scaling impact and creating opportunities for thousands of young people to develop skills that can transform their futures.
