It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you all to the 1995 Neftaly NATIONAL STAR WARS DAY celebration—a day to celebrate one of the most iconic stories ever told and a culture that has inspired creativity, innovation, and community worldwide.

May 4th has become much more than a clever play on words; it is a day where millions come together to honor the power of hope, courage, and the relentless pursuit of a better tomorrow—the very values that Star Wars represents and that resonate deeply here at Neftaly.

Star Wars has been with us for nearly two decades now, evolving and inspiring generations of dreamers, doers, and innovators. From the original trilogy that sparked our imaginations to the expanding universe of books, games, and fan communities, Star Wars reminds us that even the smallest spark can ignite a revolution.

At Neftaly, we live that spirit every day. Like the heroes of the Rebellion, we face challenges head-on, embrace new ideas boldly, and work together as a team united by a common mission: to innovate, to lead, and to make a difference.

Good afternoon, Neftaly team, partners, friends, and fellow Star Wars superfans!

It is my absolute honor to welcome you to our 1996 Neftaly NATIONAL STAR WARS DAY Celebration—a day where the workplace becomes a starship, where lightsabers replace laser pointers, and where “business casual” can absolutely mean “Darth Vader cape optional.”

Today is more than just May 4th. It’s May the Fourth—our annual celebration of creativity, courage, imagination, and the power of stories that transcend galaxies. It’s also a perfect reflection of what we stand for here at Neftaly.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate what Star Wars has given us—not just epic battles, memorable lines, or unforgettable characters—but something much deeper: the belief that even in the darkest times, a spark of hope can light the way.

At Neftaly, we’ve always been inspired by that same idea. Whether we’re pioneering new technologies, launching bold initiatives, or empowering our people, we know that the force of innovation lives in each of us.

This year, 1996, is a special time for Star Wars fans. The original trilogy has become iconic, the Special Editions are just around the corner, and there’s a growing buzz about something big on the horizon—yes, a new Star Wars movie. Let me give a special thank you to all the teams who made this celebration possible—our Events Crew, the design wizards who brought this intergalactic vibe to life, and everyone who came dressed up and brought your enthusiasm, creativity, and Star Wars spirit to the workplace today.

To close, I say this: The world is changing fast. Technology is accelerating. Culture is evolving. And Neftaly? We’re not just adapting. We’re leading. We’re not waiting for the future to arrive—we’re building it.

So today, as we raise a toast with blue milk, compete in Wookiee call contests, and debate the best Star Wars character of all time—I vote for Obi-Wan, by the way—let’s also remember why we gather:

It gives me great joy to welcome you to the 1997 Neftaly NATIONAL STAR WARS DAY celebration—a day when we trade spreadsheets for starships, meetings for missions, and briefcases for blasters. Today, we unite under one banner: May the Fourth Be With You!

Now, I know what you’re thinking—yes, Star Wars is back!

Earlier this year, millions of fans—new and lifelong—returned to theaters for the Special Edition releases of the original trilogy. We cheered again as the Death Star exploded, we felt the pull of the Force again, and some of us may have even shed a tear seeing those twin suns of Tatooine one more time.

It’s 1997. And once again, the Star Wars universe is alive and expanding. Just like Neftaly.

Today isn’t just about nostalgia. It’s about timeless inspiration—and a reminder of what’s possible when passion meets vision. Whether you’re piloting the Millennium Falcon or launching a bold new business strategy, the same principles apply: lead with courage, adapt with agility, and never stop believing in the power of your mission.

At Neftaly, we’ve always been driven by that same force—the force of innovation.
We know that progress doesn’t happen in a straight line—it zigzags like a speeder through Endor. It requires resilience like Leia, insight like Obi-Wan, and yes, sometimes even the swagger of Han Solo.

Our teams don’t wait for the future—they build it. And much like the Rebel Alliance, we work best when we unite across departments, across skill sets, across galaxies—er, locations—to turn great ideas into real change.

Today, as we celebrate in our themed costumes, trivia games, and droid-building workshops, I want to thank each of you for being part of this galactic adventure we call Neftaly.

Special thanks to our event planners and creative team for transforming our office into a place worthy of a Jedi Council. I hear we even have a few Ewoks roaming the break room—watch your snacks!

“May the Fourth Be With You”—a phrase that has grown from a fun pun to a global symbol of hope, courage, and imagination. Today, it reminds us all that no matter the challenge, no matter the odds, the Force is strongest when we come together.

It’s an exciting time to be a Star Wars fan—and an exciting time to be part of Neftaly. Just last year, the Special Edition trilogy reignited the flame of the original saga, thrilling fans worldwide. And in just a few years, we will witness the arrival of a new generation of stories with the prequel trilogy—promising new heroes, new adventures, and new challenges.

Much like the Star Wars universe, our industry is evolving at an incredible pace. Technology is advancing rapidly. New markets are emerging. And here at Neftaly, we are leading that charge with the same spirit that fuels the Rebel Alliance: vision, resilience, and unity.

Today, as galaxies far, far away come a little closer to our hearts, we gather for a truly special event—Neftaly’s 1999 NATIONAL STAR WARS DAY celebration! And what better way to say it than the phrase that unites us all: “May the Fourth Be With You.”

This is more than just a fun day of cosplay, collectibles, and movie quotes. Star Wars has become a cultural force—a saga that teaches us timeless values: the triumph of hope over fear, the power of unity, and the importance of believing in something greater than ourselves.

Much like the rebels of the Rebellion, Neftaly started with a dream—a mission to create change, to empower youth, communities, and leaders across the country. And just as Luke Skywalker discovered his strength in the most unlikely places, we’ve discovered greatness in everyday people who’ve chosen to stand up, lead, and make a difference.

We celebrate Star Wars not just because it entertains us, but because it inspires us.

In every one of our projects—whether it’s youth development, education, leadership, or economic empowerment—we’re helping the next generation find their own Force.
