Neftaly Technical Skills Training – 20 May 2015
On 20 May 2015, Neftaly successfully delivered a Technical Skills training program to 12,489 youth, empowering them with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in various technical disciplines. This initiative was conducted in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund (NMCF) and Comic Relief, reflecting a strong commitment to youth development and skills enhancement.
The program focused on equipping young people with essential technical competencies, ranging from digital literacy and computer applications to vocational and technical problem-solving skills. Through interactive sessions, mentorship, and practical exercises, participants gained not only knowledge but also the confidence to apply these skills in real-world scenarios.
By partnering with NMCF and Comic Relief, Neftaly ensured that this training reached a broad spectrum of youth, including those from under-resourced communities, fostering greater opportunities for education, employment, and personal development. This initiative highlighted the transformative impact of skills-based training in enabling youth to participate meaningfully in the socio-economic development of their communities.
Neftaly remains committed to building the capacity of young people and creating pathways for sustainable growth, innovation, and empowerment across South Africa.
