Project Implementation by Neftaly – 29 June 2016
On 29 June 2016, Neftaly successfully implemented a targeted youth development project, engaging 3010 young individuals in partnership with the CATHSETA (Culture, Arts, Travel, Tourism, Hospitality Sector Education and Training Authority). This initiative aimed to empower youth by providing them with relevant skills, knowledge, and exposure to opportunities within the culture, arts, travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors.
The project was designed to enhance the employability and entrepreneurial capabilities of the participating youth through practical workshops, mentorship sessions, and sector-specific guidance. Neftaly’s approach emphasized hands-on learning, industry insights, and personal development, equipping participants with tools to navigate career pathways and seize growth opportunities in their chosen fields.
Through collaboration with CATHSETA, the program ensured alignment with industry standards, fostering a skills-driven environment that bridges the gap between education and employment. The initiative not only highlighted the importance of sector-specific competencies but also encouraged youth to explore creative and sustainable career options within South Africa’s dynamic cultural and hospitality landscape.
This implementation reaffirmed Neftaly’s commitment to youth empowerment and sectoral development, demonstrating the impact of strategic partnerships in creating meaningful, scalable, and sustainable opportunities for young people.
