On 28 June 2015, Neftaly hosted a series of dynamic and impactful club meetings, reaching 10,582 young people across the country. This initiative, carried out in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund (NMCF) and Comic Relief, focused on inspiring and equipping youth with the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to become active and responsible citizens in their communities.
The sessions provided young people with opportunities to:
- Engage in meaningful dialogue about social issues affecting their communities.
- Develop leadership and personal development skills through interactive workshops.
- Learn from inspiring role models and mentors from both local and national levels.
- Collaborate on initiatives aimed at making a tangible difference in their communities.
The partnership with NMCF and Comic Relief enabled Neftaly to scale its impact, ensuring that thousands of young people could access quality programs that nurture self-confidence, leadership, and civic responsibility. The event underscored the power of collaboration in creating platforms that empower youth to shape their own futures.
Through these meetings, Neftaly continues its mission of building a generation of informed, engaged, and socially responsible young leaders, committed to creating positive change in South Africa and beyond.
