Neftaly Technical Skills Training – 18 May 2015
On 18 May 2015, Neftaly successfully delivered a comprehensive Technical Skills training to 12,489 youth, in a collaborative effort with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund (NMCF) and Comic Relief. This initiative was designed to equip young people with practical, hands-on skills that enhance employability, entrepreneurship, and personal development.
The training focused on a wide range of technical competencies, including digital literacy, basic IT skills, coding, and practical problem-solving techniques. By providing youth with these essential skills, the program aimed to empower them to actively participate in the modern workforce and build sustainable livelihoods.
This partnership with the NMCF and Comic Relief underscores Neftaly’s commitment to youth development and social impact. Together, the organizations successfully created an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment that reached thousands of young South Africans, fostering confidence, innovation, and technical proficiency.
The event highlighted the importance of collaboration between NGOs, funders, and youth-focused organizations in driving large-scale social impact and creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation of leaders.
