On 5 July 2016, Neftaly successfully implemented a targeted youth development project in partnership with CATHSETA, aiming to empower young people with practical skills, knowledge, and opportunities within the culture, arts, travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors. The initiative reached 3,010 youth, equipping them with valuable insights and tools to enhance employability and entrepreneurial potential in these vibrant industries.
The project focused on:
- Skills Development: Facilitating workshops, practical training, and mentorship to strengthen sector-specific competencies.
- Career Guidance: Offering advice and pathways for youth to access internships, job opportunities, and further education within the culture, arts, travel, tourism, and hospitality fields.
- Empowerment & Exposure: Creating a platform for youth to engage with industry professionals, gain first-hand exposure, and develop confidence for future endeavors.
- Partnership Engagement: Leveraging CATHSETA’s expertise and network to ensure alignment with sector-specific standards and employment opportunities.
This collaborative initiative reflects Neftaly’s commitment to youth empowerment, skills development, and sectoral growth, providing participants with a foundation to pursue meaningful careers while contributing to the broader economic development of the creative and hospitality industries.
